Information for PAME 2016 Attendees

Complimentary wifi will be available for conference attendees within the session rooms. Access information will be provided in the "General Information" section of the program book.

Registration & Check-In Information

You will receive a PAME program book and conference badge upon check-in at the registration desk. We ask that badges be worn during program hours.

Registration Hours:

  • Thursday, June 23, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Friday, June 24, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 25, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 26, 7:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Inspiration Wall

This year, you'll find an inspiration wall in the Plenary Session Room (Edison Ballroom C and D), where all meeting participants are invited to share their motivation to be part of this meeting and the PAME community. Cards will be available  for you to share your thoughts. If you have personally been touched by epilepsy, please consider bringing a picture of your loved one, or whomever it is that might inspire your passion. We hope that this wall will serve as a tangible reminder of our individual and shared purpose.

The program book provided at check-in is available for download on the PAME website here.

Abstracts for the conference are available here. Information will be sent to all registrants via email prior to June 23.

Handouts can be found here. Please continue to check back for the most up-to-date handouts.

We highly recommend you bring a web-enabled device or your own copies of any handouts you wish to review. PAME staff will not have the resources to print materials onsite.

Education Credits & Program Evaluation

The 2016 PAME Conference is approved for AMA PRA Category 1 credits. The credit/participation claim form will be available at the event and will be sent to all registered attendees on Sunday, June 26.

A program evaluation form will be sent to all attendees following the conference. The program evaluation form and credit claim will be available through Monday, August 1, 2016.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy

The deadline for conference cancellations was Friday, June 3. Cancellations received by this date will be eligible for a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made after Friday, June 3 will not be refunded due to costs already incurred by the PAME partners. For questions about your registration, email or call 312.883.3800 x107.

All hotel reservations require a credit card guarantee. One night's room and tax will be charged to your credit card if you cancel within 72 hours of your arrival. Name changes to room reservations may be made prior to arrival at no charge.

Confirming Hotel Reservations after Monday, June 6:
The deadline for hotel reservations was Monday, June 6. If you have yet to secure a room, contact Ms. Joji Gamble (703-253-8626 or The hotel will make every effort to honor the room block's discounted rate despite the passing of the deadline. Please be aware that the discounted rate is no longer guaranteed.

Photography & Session Recordings

PAME strictly prohibits all photography (flash, digital, or otherwise), audio, and/or videotaping during the conference. 

When you attend a PAME event, you enter into an area where professional photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the premises, you consent to photography and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, newsletters, promotional purposes, inclusion on websites, or any other purposes at the discretion of the PAME partners.

We will have a professional photographer onsite to photograph abstract participants, families, advocacy day participants, Epilepsy Foundation grant recipients and staff, Danny Did grant recipients and staff, travel award winners, and speakers.
