This multi-day learning event is the third Partners Against Mortality in Epilepsy (PAME) Conference devoted predominantly to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), where clinical, basic science and patient/family attendees will come together to understand and support each other.

How can I claim CME credit?
If you attended the PAME Conference in Alexandria, you received an invitation on Sunday, June 26 (sent to the email address you used to register) to complete the CME Claim evaluation. If you were marked as a no-show or if you cancelled, you are not eligible to claim CME credits. Contact AES staff at education@aesnet.org if you need the evaluation invitation resent.

How can I claim continuing education credit?

How can I get a certificate for my credits?
AES staff will process all CME credit claims and notify you when the certificate is available. Please allow at least 2 weeks from the date of your form completion.

How do I get another copy of my receipt?
For a receipt or confirmation of your registration, please email your request to AES staff at education@aesnet.org.

For a receipt or confirmation of your hotel stay, please contact Ms. Joji Gamble

I registered but didn’t attend ... Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after June 3, 2016.

Where is the meeting evaluation?
All registered attendees (not cancelled, not no-show) will receive an invitation (sent to the email address you used to register) to provide feedback on the meeting this week. To request this invitation be resent, please contact Cyndi Wright.

Can I still access the handouts?
Yes, they are available here.

  • Registration rates are per person. 
  • Your registration fee includes all sessions and the following food and beverages:
  • Thursday, June 23: Welcome reception with light snacks and beverages
  • Friday, June 24: Continental breakfast, lunch buffet and poster reception
  • Saturday, June 25: Continental breakfast and lunch buffet
  • Sunday, June 26: Continental breakfast
  • ADA accommodations: AES and our partners fully comply with the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the rules and regulations thereof and welcome people with disabilities. Hotel Reservations--Westin Alexandria

 

Confirming Reservations after June 6: The deadline to confirm a hotel room for the group rate was Monday, June 6th. Anyone needing a room after this date should contact Ms. Joji Gamble by phone at 703.253.8626 or email at Joji.Gamble@westin.com.

The hotel will do everything they can to provide the lowest possible rate. However, they are NOT obligated to offer our group rate after the deadline.

Group rate, per night, plus tax: $167 Single / Double, $177 Triple, $187 Quad 

Hotel cancellation policy: Cancellations will be accepted through Monday, June 20 by 6:00 p.m. hotel time. Cancellations after this date/time will be charged a one-night stay. 

Early departure fee: An early departure fee of $167.00 will apply if you check out prior to your confirmed check out date on your reservation. This fee can be avoided if you modify and/or change your departure date 72 hours prior to arrival by 6 p.m. hotel time. 

Check-in is 3:00 p.m.; check-out is noon.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received, via email to education@aesnet.org no later than Friday, June 3, 2016. 

Cancellations received by this date are eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee.

 

Cancellations made after June 3 will not be refunded. 

Traveling to Alexandria

The Westin hotel is a brief walk from the Metro Station & Amtrak. Hail a cab or contact the hotel in advance to confirm a complementary shuttle pick-up.  Service is offered within a 1.5 mile radius of the hotel and is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the hotel in advance at 703.253.8600, service express 0. The shuttle operates daily from 7:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
